Paramedics
Heather is a Wilderness First Aid Instructor with MedGlobe Synergy.
 
With 20 years in Search & Rescue, 6 years as a Search Co-ordinator and 3 years as a Trainer with OSARVA, as well as various roles within Girl Guides of Canada as a leader, trainer, Provincial Camping Advisor and Assistant Waterfront Director at an international camp attended by 3000 girls. Inter-provincially, she holds the title of Assistant Director for International Camps (in Saskatchewan), Heather brings her energetic and fun teaching style to the team. She makes up one third of the “three musketeers” (see other two, above).

Heather also instructs the Hug-a-Tree program which teaches youth valuable survival tactics if lost. She is a Flatwater Canoe Instructor as well as a National Lifeguard.

Heather was an invaluable resource as a proof-reader of the Wilderness First Aid Fieldguide. Her extensive Search & Rescue experience, as well as her training skills enhance our Wilderness programs significantly.
