Jeff Frenette, P2, PCP-f, W-EMT

 

Jeff has worked for 20 years in the aquatic and emergency care fields in Atlantic Canada and Quebec as well as in Ontario.

As the Director of MedGlobe Synergy, Mr. Frenette oversees the strategic direction of the company as well as authoring many of the books and fieldguides that are published by MedGlobe Synergy. Books that Mr. Frenette has authored include:

  • Jeff is responsible for the oversight and instruction of the Instructor Training program.

    Mr. Frenette has taught for several first aid companies and organizations in New Brunswick, Quebec and Ontario including the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Red Cross, Lifesaving Society of Canada, the National Safety Council, as well as for various YM-YWCA’s across Canada.

    Jeff has worked as a quality assurance consultant and Program Instructor (EMT-Basic) for Cote St Luc EMS in Montreal. In 1997, Mr. Frenette was responsible for training and consulting for an Orthodox Jewish First Responder service in Toronto. His responsibilities included training 30 responders as Emergency Medical Technicians (Basic), assisting with the integration of the service into the existing EMS system, establishing protocol (medical, non-medical, dispatching etc.) and overseeing response for quality improvement.


    During 2002, Jeff was employed as a pre-hospital consultant for Irving Oil Limited, training a 50 member on-site emergency response team (800 acre, 800 employee site) as well developing and implementing the protocols used by the team. This experience exposed Jeff to practical applications of HazMat and other specialized rescue situations.

    Mr. Frenette divides his time between developing new programs and products for MedGlobe Synergy and working as a Flight Paramedic in Northern Ontario.

    Mr. Frenette has volunteered with several organizations including the Health Promotions Committee and Communications Committee of the Heart and Stroke Foundation in North York. He was awarded a Heart Health Community Service award through the North York Heart Health Network for outstanding contribution to heart health in North York.
